A round bed? Get outta town! I would have been thrilled by this back in the day. And unlike other unusual-shaped beds (think boats or cars), a round one will be just as cool for high schoolers too.
Of course, since she’s been attending therapy regularly, Sally may be a bit more together this season. Maybe she’ll even be ready to graduate from her room’s signature rosy hue. This blue- and green-toned room has a bed with a more casual feel. Along with the armchair, it creates the perfect space to hang out with friends, without dividing the room up too much.
If Sally starts to really go down a dark path (as last season just started to hint at) after Don’s new marriage, bright and cheerful colors may not last long in her tween room. A darker wall color and a couple Andy Warhol prints would be more fitting in that case.
Being a teen and tween girl means taking forever to get ready. Dances, football games and dates are right around the corner for Sally, and she’ll need the perfect place to powder her nose. A vanity in a shocking pink finished off with a Lucite chair is classic with a bit of funk.
